FUTA POST UME DATE ANNOUNCED

This is to notify  the General Public and all the Aspirants of Federal University of Technology Akure, Futa that the Institution has commence the procedure of her 2012/2013 Post-UTME Screening for Prospective Students of the Institution. the Futa post-UTME will begin on the 6th of June to the 9th of June 2012 for both the UTME and Direct Entry Candidates.

All candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure their 1st choice or 2nd choice and obtained a minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are all invited for computer-based screening exercise in the Institution Starting from Wednesday, 6th June to Saturday, 9th June 2012.

This information also concern candidates who made FUTA their first and second choice for the Direct Entry Admission for the 2012/2013 academic year are also invited for a computer-based Pre-Admission screening exercise on Saturday, 9th June, 2012.

Registration Procedure For Futa 2012/2013 Post-UTME
Each Futa post utme candidate is to make a payment of N2,000.00 (bank commission/charges included) at any commercial Bank nation-wide using the e-transact platform. Important Notice: Please note that the CANDIDATE’S UTME/DE Registration number and the full name should be correctly provided at the point of payment.

After you have made your payment, each candidate should goto the University official website at www.futa.edu.ng and complete an online registration form. The completed form which will indicate the exact date and time for the screening exercise should be printed for the candidate’s personal use.

The registration exercise which will commence Properly on Thursday, 24th May 2012, and will close on Monday 4th June, 2012. Please take note of this dates.
Requirements for Futa Post-UTME Screening Examination
All Futa candidates are required to bring the following items to the post-UTME Screening venue:

¤¤ 1. Depositor’s copy of bank teller indicating payment of N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira only) for Registration.

¤¤ 2. Print out of e-transact receipt(collected from the bank after payment)

¤¤ 3. Completed Registration Form (this is downloaded from the FUTA official website)

¤¤ 4. JAMB UTME Notification of Results/JAMB slips for Direct Entry candidates.

The Venue of the Futa Screening exercise is the Electronic Test Centre, (ETC) "Obakekere Campus" Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones or any form of electronic gadgets into the examination hall as this will make your paper to be automatically destroyed and you will lose your chance of admission.
